Cloud Security
Program
The Cloud Security Program prepares students for professional Cloud Security assignments. It also prepares students to pursue globally recognized industry cybersecurity certifications (further study and work experience may be necessary for some certifications). The Cloud Security Program includes relevant professional skills, communications and project management coursework.

Prerequisite Knowledge or Experience for Cloud Security Students
The Instructor or Teacher’s Assistant will interview prospective students and a written knowledge assessment will be given to assess readiness for the Cloud Security program.

CLS201 - Cloud Computing & Security Fundamentals
Meets online for 90 minutes twice per week for 16 weeks.
3 Credits
Cloud Security Coursework prepares students for professional Cloud Security assignments. It
also prepares students to pursue globally recognized industry Cloud Security Certification, such
as Comptia Cloud+ & Cloud Security Alliance’s Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (further
study and work experience may be necessary for some certifications).

CSC202 - Communications for Cloud and Security
Meets online for 120 minutes once per week for 8 weeks.
1 Credit
Communications for Cyber and Cloud Security prepares students to communicate effectively
with Cloud Security team members. It also prepares students to communicate Cloud Security
protocols to clients and non-security departments in their organization.

ITPM203 - Project Management for IT Professionals
Meets online for 120 minutes once per week for 8 weeks.
